This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

FINANCIAL AID

If you would like to request financial assistance do not continue with the registration process. Please send an email to ngl.program@gmail.com.  The Program Director will work with you to discuss your needs and help complete the registration process.

Once you send the email your player or players will be reserved a spot in the program.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

Newton Girls Lacrosse has been dedicated to providing Newton lacrosse players and their families a community based developmental lacrosse program since 1999.  The program delivers a fun, safe and inclusive youth sports environment.  The goal of this instructional program is teaching our players sportsmanship, lacrosse skills, and providing space for building new friendships with players from across the city.

Newton Girls Lacrosse serves players in grades 1-8 and is appropriate for players of all skill and experience levels.

Cost

Grades 1/2 - $150

Grades 3/4 - $250

Grades 5-8 - $300

All Select - $50

Home Field Location: Weeks Field is used for practice for all grades. This field is also used for 1/2 grade team games.

PRACTICES

Grades 1/2:  Wednesdays, 6-7PM @ Weeks Field, Newton Center

FIRST PRACTICE: 4/2

Grades 3-8:  Monday and Wednesday, 6-7PM @ Weeks Fields,  Newton Center

FIRST PRACTICE: 3/31

**Please Note: once the daylight cooperates we will extend practice to 7:15.

GAMES (draft - certain dates need to be finalized)

Grades 1/2: 4  Sunday games,  Dates TBD. 1/2 teams do NOT play other towns.

1/2 grade players will be placed on a team of 10-12 players with a dedicated head coach.  1/2 teams will play each other in a round robin format. 

Grades 3-8: Sunday games, Dates TBD. Home games are played at Newton South High School - Brandies Field. Each team will have a dedicated head coach and assistant coach. Grade 3-8s teams do travel to other towns for games.

Team sizes will vary depending on the number of registered players.

Grades 3-4 play 8v8 on smaller fields - no stick checking allowed. 

Grades 5-8 play 12v12 on full size fields - modified stick checking allowed.

PRESEASON ACTIVITIES

Pre-Season Indoor Training and Practices will be held in February and March. We will send RSVPs for each of these sessions as they approach. The schedule will be shared once the planning process is complete.
